Khabib Nurmagomedov is currently preparing for his promotion’s first global event. Ever since his departure from the UFC; the Dagestani has focused on building his own MMA promotion- Eagle Fighting Championship, where he will hope to have many memorable moments.
He had many of them during his time at the UFC. One of them was when ‘The Eagle’ admitted to a crowd including former double champion Daniel Cormier that he illegally watches UFC events.

The setting was inside a training center, possibly the American Kickboxing Academy led by coach Javier Mendez. Khabib Nurmagomedov and ‘DC’ seemed to be chatting about ESPN and UFC PPVs when ‘DC’ was suddenly interrupted by Nurmagomedov. When ‘The Eagle’ said, “Buy? We have Russian link,” a bewildered Cormier asked him, “You have a link?”
Khabib Nurmagomed sarcastically replied, “Never pay for it.”
The rest of the fighters erupted in laughter as ‘DC’ reminded Nurmagomedov of his payout and net worth.
Meanwhile, this might not have sat well with UFC President Dana White, who has increased UFC PPV rates twice since ‘The Eagle’s retirement.
When Khabib Nurmagomedov streamed UFC in front of Dana White
Admitting to the illegal stuff may be something that is pardonable, however, Khabib Nurmagomedov is not about that simple life. Apart from blaming him for the Mystic Mac bias, the Russian has done more than enough to needle UFC head honcho, Dana White.
He once tried to stream a UFC event illegally to his fans with Dana White near him. It happened earlier last year when ‘The Eagle’ joined the UFC President at the UFC Apex in March.

Although the Russian was mostly seen engaged in a conversation with the President, he left his fans amazed when he took out his phone and shared the Derek Brunson vs Kevin Holland bout on his Instagram live.
