She achieved a glorious victory by defeating Weili in the opening round via a head kick. This made her the women’s strawweight champion for the second time. During their chat, Rogan began to praise Namajunas for her determination. He said, “She looks like a model… It has nothing to do with men beating each other up. There’s nothing to do with brutishness. It has to do with high-level problem solving with dire physical consequences.

He further detailed the message that Namajunas passed on to the world after winning the strawweight belt for the second time which made Rogan emotional. The former Fear Factor host continued, “When she won the title the first time, I was interviewing her one of the things. She was saying is we have to be better people. She like had this message while I was interviewing her in the cage after winning a fight and she’s like we got to be nicer to each other. That was her message. It’s about transcending.

From Rogan’s words, it is clear that he holds Namajunas in high regard. He also added that ‘Thug’ is a sweet person who is highly emotional. The commentator acknowledges that she is not brutish, but a determined fighter who wants to make a great name for herself.
