UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is a force to be reckoned with. He has defended his title against some of the best fighters in the division. His dominance over the weight class is surprising, and it seems like he might remain champion for a long time.
While fans are amazed by his fighting skills, the credit for his exceptional performance also goes to his coach Trevor Wittman. Wittman also coaches UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and lightweight Justin Gaethje. So it is clear that he is one of the best MMA coaches.

As Usman reigns over the division, many are eager to see him and Leon Edwards fight once again. Both the fighters faced off back in 2015. Edwards lost the bout through a unanimous decision. The fight happened long back, and both fighters have grown a lot since then. The British fighter has had some glorious fights, and hence many believe he deserves a shot at the title.
Wittman recently spoke about a possible second bout between Usman and Edwards. He said, “I think a new challenge. Leon is like a new challenge to me. That was so long ago. … I just want the best, like as a coach you want the best challenges.”
He further stated, “We want to go out there and make sure we are not hesitating and making different decisions and then seeing if we can change game plans up in fights. That’s a cool thing too, to fight differently than you did the first time you fought him. So that’s always a good challenge for me as a coach. So I’m open to anything. At this level, it’s like we want the best. That’s it.”
