According to recent reports, Conor McGregor missed the USADA deadline to the eligible for competition in 2023. Hence, many are expecting him to return in early 2024. Meanwhile, some are speculating the Irishman has lost interest in Chandler and is looking for a new opponent.

But Chandler had no doubt in his mind. Talking to Cormier, he said, “The deal was, when we started the show, and the deal still is, that we’re gonna fight each other. We’re gonna fight each other after the show.

Speaking about TUF 31, he said, “So, the competition, which is our fight, which would be months after the show airs, started the day that we set foot down in Vegas, right? So, gamesmanship, mind games, I wanted to beat him at every turn, beat him in every fight and then eventually beat him in out fight, when we do fight.”
