Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo recently revealed a new version of Zhang Weili. Currently, ‘Magnum’ is training with ‘Triple C’ for one of the biggest fights of her UFC career.
Weili faced her first UFC loss in her second title defense against Rose Namajunas at UFC 261. To avenge her loss and regain her strawweight gold strap, the Chinese fighter will take on ‘Thug Rose’ for the second time at UFC 268. The pay-per-view will take place inside the Madison Square Garden in New York on 6th November.

‘Magnum’ is desperate to get back her strawweight gold strap and is leaving no stone unturned for her rematch. She moved her training camp from Beijing to Fight Ready in Scottsdale to train with one of the best MMA fighters.
The 33-year-old has been sharpening her wrestling skills with the help of former two-division UFC champion and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo. And it looks like the training is going well as Cejudo believes that ‘Magnum’ is a better fighter now.
Cejudo took to social media to share a picture with the former women’s champion while taking a dig at her opponent. He wrote in the caption, “Look your doors, hide your thugs and give us all the roses because Weili 2.0 is coming”

Given Namajunas’s history in rematches, it won’t be a walk in the park for the Chinese fighter to face her inside the octagon. However, ‘The Magnum’ took her previous loss pretty badly. Therefore, she is putting heavy preparation for her rematch in the quest to avenge her only UFC loss.

‘Magnum‘ is one of the most prominent names in the strawweight division of the UFC. She has an impressive MMA record of 21-2 under her name. Weili has only two losses in her entire professional fighting career. It is clear by her record that Zhang is one of the best women fighters in the promotion.
Zhang Weili was on an amazing sixteen-fight win streak before she made her amazing UFC debut with a stunning victory. ‘Magnum’ was unstoppable in her division and defeated some of the biggest names in the promotion.

‘The Magnum’ won her first-ever UFC strawweight gold against Jessica Andrade. Furthermore, she defended it against Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 248. However, Weili faced a devastating setback when she was on an impressive twenty-one-fight win streak against Namajunas.
This was her only defeat in the UFC and 2nd in her overall MMA career. Therefore, Zhang has been training very hard and will look to reclaim the strawweight championship.
