The current champion Leon Edwards delivered an ‘Everything of the Year‘ moment when he knocked out former champion Kamaru Usman last year. ‘Rocky’ made one of the greatest comebacks ever. He also the stage for a trilogy fight against ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’. However, speculations of the rubber match in jeopardy are strong after Usman made a public appearance with an injured hand.

However, that does not seem to have dampened the fans’ spirits. Under a recent Reddit post that showed Usman with what appears to be a hand injury, fans eagerly discussed other options for Edwards. Fortunately for them, that list is quite long.

Fans dismiss Jorge Masvidal vs. Leon Edwards

The talk of the town is that Leon Edwards will make his maiden title defense in his hometown against Kamaru Usman in March. However, since news of Usman’s injury began circulating, fans have been discussing other potential options.

Despite Jorge Masvidal and Edwards having a longstanding beef, fans are not keen on watching Masvidal fight for a title after his recent losses. However, many of them believe that it is a strong possibility.
