Gordon Ryan swiftly changed from a free mount and then isolated Patrick Gaudio’s arm, getting him into an armbar submission position. The 30-year-old Brazilian was trying to get out of the predicament but had to tap out. Incidentally, this was the same way Ryan predicted that he’d finish his opponent during a conversation with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe. Let’s take a look at the conversation they had prior to the fight.

‘The King’s prediction surprised Joe Rogan’s friend

Gordon Ryan seems to have a good relationship with popular comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who has been Joe Rogan’s friend for years. Prior to the fight on Sunday, he told the ‘Kill Tony’ host about how the fight would end during a chat they had on the phone. Ryan said, “Match prediction on Sunday. Calling arm bar to sell my new instructional basis.” Along with the prediction, Ryan also shared a couple of pictures of a box.

He later revealed that the box included a bottle of Conor McGregor‘s Proper 12 whiskey, a doll, and a note about how things would go down during the fight. Tony Hinchcliffe was surprised to see that the fight went the exact same way as the prediction and shared a story on Instagram about it. He praised Gordon Ryan and said, “Lol [Gordon Ryan] called his shot Friday night. What a monster.”
