‘CC0’ opened up about his tattoos on his official website. Josh Emmett had a famous tattoo artist, Bill Liberty, who lived near his house and got started with his first tattoo.
He said, “I was a big fan of Japanese art, and Bill Liberty has been around forever, one of the best tattoo artists in the country, that happens to live near me.”

There are a few tattoos on his arms inspired by Japanese culture. Those signify cherry blossom, lotus flower, and water. Emmett also has a tattoo of a tiki mask on his chest region, which is inspired by the Hawaiian culture.

“The tiki mask is a picture from the Big Island. All the other stuff, it’s cherry blossom flower, lotus flower, and water,” said Emmett. The featherweight fighter also has a few more tattoos, which include a skull on his arm, a small bomb on the wrist of his right hand, and even a clownfish, which was made before the movie ‘Finding Nemo’ was made. Emment even talked about whether he regretted making any of the tattoos on his body. Let’s see what he had to say.
Does Emmett regret any of his tattoos?
Josh Emmett mentioned that he got most of his tattoos when he was very young. In fact, he inked his first one when he reached 18 years of age. He said, “I was pretty young, got the first on my 18th birthday. Got most of them when I was younger.” It’s common for people to regret some decisions when it comes to tattoos. However, that was not the case with Emmett.

Josh Emmett wants more tattoos. He plans to get sleeve tattoos, by getting his right arm colored while his left arm will be inked with shades of black and grey. Emmett wants to do something distinguishable. “I eventually want sleeves, with my right arm color, and my left black and gray, but still thinking of a unique concept,” said the 6th-ranked featherweight.

Now that we have discussed his tattoos, we will now talk about the significance of returning to winning ways for Josh Emmett. He has lost his last two fights against Yair Rodriguez and Ilia Topuria, respectively. But in the wake of Giga Chikadze’s pullout, Emmett faces a new challenge in Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296.
