The city of Boston is going to witness an immensely enthralling fight card, with the bout between Sean O’Malley and the bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling taking center stage. Even more gripping would be the return of former middleweight champion Chris Weidman as he sets his eye on his impending bout in that event.

However, one more unbeaten aspect is set to step foot inside the Octagon for the 13th time in his career. Yes, all eyes would be on Conor McGregor’s compatriot Ian Garry as he is set to take on #11 welterweight Neil Magny. Having his sights set on reaching the top 10 list of the welterweight division, ‘The Future’ would surely aim to come up strong. However, fans have even started speculating on the names next in line to face him.

Boasting an unbeaten record of 12-0, Garry has surely been the talk of the town ever since he stepped foot inside the realm of the UFC. Being compared to Conor McGregor, the welterweight sensation’s future after the bout against seasoned Octagon veteran Magny has been a matter of utter intrigue. In fact, Garry was first supposed to fight Geoff Neil; however, an unforeseen injury eradicated Neil from the event.

Hailed by the fans, Garry is even being speculated to take on the winner of the UFC welterweight championship bout confirmed to take place at UFC 295. Whether it would be Colby Covington or Leon Edwards, the factor has raised the dubiousness of the fans. However, it should be kept in mind that Belal Muhammad is also standing in the line for the title shot.

In fact, Garry could even fight Muhammad for the number one crack at the title. So much speculation has been surrounding the 25-year-old in recent times. Israel Adesanya predicts the result of Garry’s forthcoming bout

Everyone knows that UFC’s own ‘Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya speaks his heart while predicting an upcoming bout. In a similar fashion, he predicted the fate of Garry as he shed light on his chances of winning the bout at UFC 292. He said,, “I like his spirit. I like what he brings to the UFC. The way he’s kind of done it like a reality show of his life on Instagram–which I find cool. Like–he’s able to just let people in like that. And he’s just got that spirit and people want to watch him and he’s slick”.

Analyzing Garry’s forthcoming bout ‘Izzy’ further said, “Ian is just too smart. Ian knows how to like – rethink on the fly as well. He’s just that dude like you just know when someone’s just like – ‘That guy!’ Yeah – I call it the Goku spirit. Only certain people have it…” And eventually placing his bid, “Anyways, in this fight – I’m going to go with Ian – Ian Garry.” He quoted.

As UFC 292 gets closed, the intrigue associated with Garry’s prospect also gains indefinite heights.
