He then signed with the PFL, but his run there fell flat, ending with a 1-2 record. However, Stephens reignited his fire in bare-knuckle boxing, going undefeated in BKFC with three straight wins—the latest coming in a gritty battle against Eddie Alvarez. Now, with momentum back on his side, “Lil’ Heathen” looks poised for a UFC return.

Jeremy Stephen’s BKFC Purses and Payouts

If we look closely at Jeremy Stephen’s earnings, we can see that the fighter has amassed a net worth of around $4 million from his fighting career.  It must be noted that the amount might have gone beyond this, considering his BKFC earnings. Why, you ask?

Well, Stephen is a huge name in the realm of combat sports, so it was only natural for David Feldman to reward him handsomely for his performances in BKFC. Just consider this: for his debut fight under the BKFC against Jimmie Rivera, Stephen earned a massive $100,000 as his fight purse.

For his fight against Bobby Taylor, Stephen earned $200,000. The numbers are quite similar to what he used to earn in his PFL days. For his battle against Eddie Alvarez, the fighter earned somewhere between $300,000-$500,000 as his fight purse. These are the officially released numbers, but the original payment might differ. Clearly, his BKFC earnings are far more than his UFC earnings, as his highest payday in his first UFC run was against Doo Ho Choi at UFC Fight Night 124.

The fight ended with Stephan’s defeating Ho Choi by way of knockout in Round 2. He received $63,000 for showing up for the event, and another $63,000 for the win. And this win was worthy of a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus. Well, now that we know about his BKFC earnings, let’s have a look at his career.

Jeremy Stephens’ BKFC Career

After back-to-back losses in the UFC and PFL, Jeremy Stephens tried his luck under David Feldman’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship promotion—and oh boy, was it a success! His debut bout was against former UFC fighter Jimmie Rivera, who left the organization with an impressive record of 23 wins and only 5 losses. Rivera was a tough opponent for Stephens, but in the end, experience prevailed as Stephens secured a victory via knockout due to a doctor’s stoppage.

After defeating Rivera, he faced Bobby Taylor on September 6, 2024, at BKFC 65. He won the fight by unanimous decision, earning the Performance of the Night award. After back-to-back victories against top contenders, David Feldman pitted Stephen against Eddie Alvarez. The odds were completely against Stephens, but the outcome of the battle shocked everyone.

Stephens secured the victory with two knockdowns and won the fight via third-round TKO, as Alvarez was unable to return for the fourth round. After his BKFC endeavor, Dana White re-signed him to fight under his banner, and he agreed as well. For now, Stephens is preparing himself to clash against Mason Jones at UFC Des Moines.
