There are times when some of the announcements of the UFC president, Dana White, have shaken the entire UFC community. At the post-fight press conference of UFC 286, White made a similar shocking announcement that Colby Covington would be the next opponent of Welterweight champion Leon Edwards. The other Welterweight fighters, including the champion, felt the decision of the UFC boss was quite absurd. ‘Chaos’ has lost two of the four bouts he has fought. Moreover, both the fights he lost were against the former welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman.

Covington’s last two losses were the title bouts, and now White wants to give him another chance to win the belt. UFC welterweight Belal Muhammad was the most affected person with the president’s decision, as he was at the peak of his career with an impressive winning streak. This makes him the most suitable contender for a title bout. However, White decided to stick with ‘Chaos’. Furthermore, he asserted that his decision was not going to change even after the clash between Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal. After coming across White’s recent post-fight press conference at UFC on ESPN 43, fans are once again furious at the boss.

At the post-fight press conference of the UFC on ESPN 43, White said,That was a no brainer,” The UFC president said “If Usman doesn’t exist Colby’s been the champ now for a while. He’s been there forever. He cut the weight. He showed up to fill in for that fight and a million other reasons why he deserves that fight. Why not Colby deserves a fight, Can somebody explain that to me?

Fans felt that White was not making sense. Additionally, they doubted that some kind of conspiracy is going on between White and Covington, which compels the boss to give the title shot to Covington for the third time.
