This movie is sure to evoke nostalgia for fans, reminiscent of the ‘Rocky’ and ‘Creed’ sports movies. The hype around the film grew after the release of its trailer, with more than just Jon Jones in the spotlight as Georges St-Pierre also shines in his outing. For GSP, this is not his first time in front of the camera, as he has been acting for quite some time, having appeared in several films and TV shows before, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

In analyzing the ‘The Cage’ series and its trailer, it’s clear that Georges St-Pierre’s role is more prominent than his fellow UFC fighters. While ‘Bones’ and Ciryl Gane are known for their dominance inside the octagon, facing the camera for the first time offers them a new challenge. For the French-Canadian, however, acting is nothing new.

Before his first sabbatical from MMA in 2013, GSP built a solid reputation in the acting world, starting with the movie called ‘Death Warrior’. Since then, he’s starred in six movies, including Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ and appeared in two other Marvel series, ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and the animated ‘What If…’ series, where he voiced the character of Batroc.
