Conor McGregor has gone berserk on Twitter lately, especially after his UFC 264 leg break against Dustin Poirier. His attacks have spared nobody. According to many, the Irishman has crossed the line at some points too, as he got personal often. Anthony Smith is one such individual.

‘Lionheart’ was stunned to see McGregor’s tirade and said that people have been shot for less. McGregor noted those comments and issued a response to the former light-heavyweight title challenger recently.

Who’s getting shot and for what? What the f*ck are you saying you big zombie. The disrespect coming my way consistently is what is causing my response. Are you stupid? You do not see this? Fu*ck off and leave me alone you losers. You nobodies. I’m preparing to return,” wrote the Irish fighter on Twitter recently.

How ‘Lionheart’ responds to those comments remains to be seen. Smith hasn’t been the only fighter from other weight classes McGregor has gone after recently. The likes of Michael Bisping, Daniel Cormier too, haven’t escaped his wrath.

Conor McGregor has been updating fans about his recovery

While McGregor has been active on Twitter, he seems to be recovering pretty well from his injury too. The Irish fighter has kept his fans updated about his recovery. He recently posted a clip of him riding a bike. ‘The Notorious’ looks well on course to be healing.

He can’t be expected to return until the latter half of 2022, though, by any means. It’s important that the Irishman recovers well from such a devastating injury. His antics though, have certainly drawn some unwanted attention to him, to say the least.

McGregor hopes to jump among the very best fighters straight away. The fourth fight with Dustin Poirier or a trilogy showdown against Nate Diaz is the most possible comeback fight for him. However, he hasn’t spared calling out the like of Kamaru Usman as well.
