MMA rings are unquestionably a very unforeseen realm. No matter the kinds of training the fighters undergo, they often run into a situation for which they are unprepared. And something similar happened to Charles Johnson during his fight with Zhalgas Zhumagulov and it drew a lot of attention from the fans.

UFC Vegas 65 concluded with some spectacular fights and one of the unique bouts of the night was Johnson vs. Zhumagulov. Fans reacted to one particular instance from their fights in an Instagram video.
Charles Johnson had a leg situation during the fight
Derrick Lewis and Sergey Spivak were scheduled to face off on the main card of UFC Vegas 65, but that matchup was scrapped after Lewis was rushed to the hospital. Nonetheless, some spectacular fights were lined up for the audience, and the one to stand out the most was Johnson vs. Zhumagulov. During the fight between Charles Johnson and Zhalgas Zhumagulov, the former’s leg seemed to have fallen asleep, and he could be seen struggling to stay balanced as he attempts to get his leg back to normal.

Fans had all kinds of reactions to the instance:

A fan’s curiosity was raised high: “Yooo is this an actual solution to turning your leg back on?”

Fans can really get creative with their takes on things over social media. And it wasn’t any different this time. Having such a thing occur during the fight may be extremely challenging and frustrating, but Johnson managed to get past it effectively.
A fresh win for a fresh fighter
Despite the leg situation, Charles Johnson managed to win the fight against a relatively experienced opponent, Zhalgas Zhumagulov. Johnson, a.k.a ‘InnerG’ made his debut in the UFC this year itself and managed to get a win in his second fight.
Zhalgas Zhumagulov on the other hand has been a part of UFC for over 2 years and has competed six times so far, including his fight with Johnson. And over the course of his tenure so far, he has won one fight which was against Jerome Rivera.
