UFC Fight Night: Marina Rodriguez vs. Michelle Waterson was supposed to be headlined by a bantamweight clash between Cory Sandhagen, and former two-time UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw. However, Dillashaw pulled out of the UFC Fight Night main event because of a cut he received in training.
After Dillashaw withdrew from the fight, the event now will be headlined by a women’s flyweight clash between Marina Rodriguez 13-1-2 (W-L-D) and Michelle Waterson 18-8-0 (W-L-D).
Rodriguez is stepping inside the octagon after a spectacular TKO victory over Amanda Ribas at UFC 257. On the other hand, ‘The Karate Hottie’ will make her 2021 debut inside the octagon after a magnificent split decision win over Angela Hill at UFC Vegas 10 on September 12, 2020.
