Lately, Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury, two of the biggest names in combat sports, are spitting fire at each other on the internet. However, the men have had an interaction in the past.

In 2019, the heavyweight legend Fury expressed his interest in making a transition to MMA. Interestingly, ‘The Gypsy King’ was training for the same with the British UFC fighter Darren Till. And in an interview with ESPN, Fury also claimed he received an offer from the UFC star Conor McGregor to train him in MMA.

However, the UFC pay-per-view star denied any such claim. Eventually, in 2020, ‘The Gypsy King’ was preparing for his much-anticipated rematch with Deontay Wilder on 22n February. And ‘The Notorious’ was a few days away from his fight with Donald Cerrone in January.

However, this tweet didn’t sit well with the Irishman who also happens to be the arch-rival of the Russian fighter. ‘The Notorious’ quickly responded by taking a dig at the heavyweight boxing legend.
