

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Will Smith are one of the most popular personalities in their respective fields. Given their popularity, both the entities know each other and have met several times.

During one such meeting in the UAE, the former UFC lightweight champion Nurmagomedov shared about his weight cut achievement with Hollywood actor, Will Smith. Although Smith has done many body transformations for his roles, Nurmagomedov’s weight cut records amazed the star.
Whenever ‘The Eagle’ is in the UAE, he trains at Dubai’s NAS sports complex with his teammates and friends. Apparently, a couple of years ago, the famous Hollywood star Smith, who was also present at the NAS sports complex, bumped into Nurmagomedov.
‘The Eagle’, after meeting Smith, noticed his lean cut and said, “You cut weight” the latter agreed and replied, “Oh yeah, I am down.” Later, Nurmagomedov told Smith about his weight cut history. He said, “In my all professional career, I check I cut almost 800 kilos.”

Upon hearing that, Smith replied, “That’s crazy.” It was quite a friendly moment between two of the most famous personalities. Later, the former UFC champion also offered to help Smith cut weight. He said, “If you need cutting weight, just let me know.” To which Smith replied by saying, “I know yeah, yes exactly.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov demands a title fight for Islam Makhachev
Ever since Nurmagomedov left professional fighting, he is training his friends and teammates for their MMA careers. One of the fighters who train under the former champion is the UFC lightweight,t Islam Makhachev.
Makhachev has been outstanding in his UFC career ever since under Nurmagomedov’s wings. He is currently on a ten-fight undefeated streak and stands number four on the 155 lbs roster.

Hence, ‘The Eagle’ believes Makhachev deserves a shot at the lightweight gold. He has demanded the same from the UFC head honcho Dana White. However, White wants Makhachev to clash against the number six contender Beneil Dariush before getting a title shot.

This fight was previously set to take place. However, Dariush suffered an injury and had to pull out of the fight. Although Makhachev has numerous wins under his name, a victory over a top-contender like Dariush will surely cement him next for the title.
