Since then, MMA fans have been eagerly waiting to see him locking horns with another fierce striker and arguably the biggest star of the sport, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor.

But, the fans have only received disappointment as the president had reportedly denied the possibility of this hugely awaited showdown. The boss’s decision also enraged Masvidal. Since then, he has gone to diss ‘Mystic Mac’ a number of times while appearing on public platforms.
Jorge Masvidal crossed all limits on the Adam Carolla Show
Masvidal joined the noted American radio personality, comedian, actor, and podcaster, Adam Carolla via a call on his show, ‘The Adam Carolla Show’. The noted American radio personality and voice-over artist ‘Gina Grad’, and The New York Times best-selling author, ‘Bald Bryan’, joined Masvidal.
Carolla started off things by questioning Masvidal, “Are you looking to get Conor McGregor in the Octagon?”.
Masvidal answered that he “wouldn’t mind breaking Conor McGregor’s face in the octagon”. His dislike towards McGregor was apparent in his tone. Masvidal has also been evidently frustrated about White’s denial of his fight with ‘The Notorious’.
Carolla had another question for ‘Gamebred’. He asked, “He had a really bad injury last time he fought. Is he coming back? Do you know?. The ‘BMF’ went ‘full-on-rogue’ as he answered Carolla, “I don’t know, I heard it like when your va**na’s hurt so much it’s hard to come back from it, so I’ve no idea if he’s coming back in a …”
Masvidal’s reply had the other guests enthralled as Grad replied, “That’s true. I can vouch for that”. Her sarcasm was pretty apparent as well.
Why the Masvidal vs McGregor showdown hasn’t happened?
The reason for this can never be documented. UFC president, ‘Dana White’, denied the offers of any such fight. McGregor had been dominantly fighting in the ‘155lb’ division and earning good money for them.

They probably didn’t want to risk ‘McGregor’ in going up to 170lbs to fight Masvidal. ‘Gamebred’ has been visibly enraged as he has gone on to deride ‘Mystic Mac’ a number of times.
