UFC 300 is just a week away, and the fighters are desperate to showcase their skills. Some of the promotion’s biggest stars will feature at the historic event. Bobby Green, a stalwart in the lightweight division, will also be featuring at the event.

‘King’ will take on UFC veteran Jim Miller for the first time in his career. ‘A 10’ holds the record for the most UFC fights and is fresh off a victory in his last fight. The 36-year-old will have to be at his best to come out on top against Miller. Before his much-awaited clash, let us take a look at where ‘King’ sharpens his skills.

‘King ‘ has faced some of the most prominent names at the 155 pound division. He has captured the attention of the fans with his unique fighting style and off beat antics. Green, faced adversities from a very young age and even lost his father Mitchell Davis. However, he found his calling in MMA and started training under Jacob Behney. Behney took on the role of coaching Green and the pair sharpened their skills at his brother’s gym, Pinnacle Gym in Redlands, California.

‘King’ also takes advice from Jamall Emmers and Sergio Guerrero in order to improve his skills. His training partners include some of the best fighters from different promotions. He trains with Greg Guzman, Reuben Duran, Willie Gates and Rick James. 37-year-old Green is yet to win the lightweight title and will look to get back to winning ways when he takes on ‘ A 10’ next. It will interesting to see who walks as the winner at UFC 300 next?

What importance does the fight hold for Bobby Green?

At 37 years of age Bobby Green is at the twilight of his career. He will have his opportunities cut out if he doesn’t win his next fight at UFC 300. ‘King’ currently holds a record of 31-15-1 and one no-contest. He is one of those rare fighters who is very rarely involved in controversies. Well, except for one occasion. However, his recent form inside the Octagon has not been great. He lost his previous fight against Jalin Turner at UFC Fight Night via knockout. ‘King’ will be taking on Jim Miller who seems to getting better with age. Both fighters have a considerable age difference between them and have contrasting fighting styles.

The fans desperately wanted to witness the lightweight fighter in action after his previous performance. Miller now holds the record of making an appearance at UFC 100, UFC 200, and UFC 300 as well.
