At the mecca of fighting, ‘The Diamond’ and ‘Iron’, two of the absolute bests in UFC’s toughest division, showcased their undeniable heart.
The first round was two nothing short of two trucks colliding with each other. A collision that gave the fans the moment they will remember forever; A new contender for the round of the year. While Michael Chandler found early success, Dustin Poirier survived and paid the former Bellator fighter for not finishing him.
Chandler turned the tables in the second round. The credential wrestler took the fight to the mat and dominated on the ground. However, Poirier survived and came back strong in the third round. Another botched takedown from ‘Iron’ provided the former UFC interim lightweight champion the opportunity to take the back and secure the submission.
