A number of fans questioned Elon Musk’s martial arts skills when he challenged the noted Facebook head honcho, Mark Zuckerberg. However, the answer to it was found in Joe Rogan’s coveted podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In an episode of ‘JRE,’ the famed Tesla CEO revealed his martial arts background, saying he had trained in a collection of them, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Apart from Musk, Rogan’s coveted podcast has also hosted several modern-era celebrities.

In Rogan’s own words, what once started off just as a “f*ck around”, has turned into a massive entity today. It also earned him an insane amount of $200M in 2020 after finalizing its broadcasting license deal with Spotify. But, ‘JRE’ still continues to attract various other sponsors due to its immense popularity. A large chunk of ‘JRE’ viewers may be aware of the fact that it is in the twilight days of its lucrative deal with Spotify. With the Spotify deal being ‘JRE’s’ most wealth-gaining partnership by far, there are various other smaller companies that have sponsored ‘JRE’ over the course of time. ‘JRELibrary.com’ has prepared an entire list of the sponsors who have been or are associated with the sponsorship of the 56-year-old’s coveted podcast.

Fans may find several noted names in the list as well. Here’s the list of the sponsors of ‘JRE’ to date:

  • Allform Customizable Sofas
  • Athletic Greens – AG1
  • Better Help
  • Black Rifle Coffee Company
  • Butcher Box
  • CAR.O.L
  • Cash App
  • cbdMD
  • Crossrope
  • ExpressVPN
  • ExtraHop
  • Manscaped, and many more.

The endorsement process may consist of Rogan speaking out the name of one or multiple sponsors at the beginning of the episode. However, the 56-year-old may choose to endorse his sponsors at any moment of a ‘JRE’ episode.

Who was the first sponsor of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’?

Rogan himself mentioned he didn’t see ‘JRE’ as something that would attract sponsors someday. He also broke down the story behind gaining their first sponsors in an episode of ‘JRE’ itself. The famed American comedian, Shane Willis, joined Rogan for the episode in which he detailed the same.

‘The ‘JRE’ host’ started off with a revelation of how he ran his podcast in a “ridiculous” way in the beginning. He further stated that it was Aubrey Marcus who offered him his first sponsorship deal for ‘JRE’. “So he had a meeting with us and he told us about ‘Fleshlight'”, mentioned Rogan. The 56-year-old also finalized the deal which made the se*-toys brand ‘Fleshlight’ the first-ever sponsor of JRE.

‘The JRE host’ also revealed his own feelings at the finalizing of his first sponsorship, stating, “I’m like that’s hilarious”. Well, first of all, Rogan was shocked that his podcast was gaining a sponsor. He could never imagine that someone would pay for him to endorse their brand in a show where he “just fuc**d around”.

When is the $200M deal between Joe Rogan and Spotify getting over?

Avid ‘JRE’ followers might know that Spotify’s $200M broadcasting rights deal with the podcast will end at the conclusion of this year. Several reports also state that Spotify might find it hard to renew its license to broadcast full episodes of ‘JRE’.

As expected, Rogan’s podcast has grown in viewership since 2020. Hence, the ‘JRE’ host will probably demand a higher value of wealth for the renewal of his partnership with ‘Spotify’. On the other hand, a report by ‘midiaresearch.com’ also says that Spotify authorities have stopped “overspending” on podcasts. It also might have them opting out of their deal with ‘JRE’.
