Who has Arman Tsarukyan lost to in his MMA career?

Tsarukyan came into MMA with a background in combat Sambo and freestyle wrestling. The Armenian has a professional MMA record of 20-3, with two of those losses in the UFC. On April 20, 2019, he was defeated by Islam Makhachev at UFC Fight Night 149. Tsarukyan was kept under control and on the ground by Makhachev for the majority of the fight, preventing him from scoring any meaningful strikes for a unanimous decision victory.

He lost to Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Fight Night 38 in June last year. After a tough five-round fight, he lost via unanimous decision to the Pole. Following a back-and-forth exchange of blows, Gamrot was able to out-strike and out-wrestle Tsarukyan, earning both competitors the Fight of the Night prize.

And with his two losses at the UFC being all-out battles, earning Fight of the Night honors, he is on a trajectory towards a title shot pretty soon. If he can defeat Dariush, he could make a compelling case for a no. 1 contender match against Justin Gaethje or at least a no. 2 contender bout against #3 ranked Dustin Poirier.
