Orolbai’s previous two appearances truly impressed many, as his submission win against Uros Medic and unanimous decision victory over Elves Brener gave his pro-MMA record its thirteenth win. Out of the thirteen, 2 wins came in the UFC, while 3 came in the LFA, where he made a good name for himself. However, he also has 1 loss on his record as well, making it 13-1-1. Myktykbek Orolbai’s only MMA loss

So far in his career, Myktykbek Orolbai has tried his best to avoid any losses. However, in his fifteen-fight pro-MMA career, he’s had to face a major loss that stands out in his 13-1-1 record. But unlike other fighters who suffer defeat when they enter a grand stage like the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the Kyrgyzstani lightweight’s career faced a setback in its earlier stages.

Back when Orolbai was a part of the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA), he was booked to fight Eurasia region’s #223 ranked MMA fighter, Khalid Satuev. Back then, Orolbai already had six wins under his belt, and it looked like he would get another one at the ACA Young Eagles 15 back in 2020. However, Satuev managed to grab a win via unanimous decision, handing the UFC lightweight his first MMA loss.

Myktybek Orolbai’s overall MMA record and winning streak

Apart from the loss at the hands of Khalid Satuev at ACA Young Eagles 15, only one other fight ended up with Myktykbek Orolbai’s hand not being raised up in the air. And it was the fight against Akhliddin Mirzodavlatov at WEF Selection 20 back on January 20, 2019. The two fighters had a fierce battle that ended in a majority decision draw.

But apart from the aforementioned loss and a draw, Myktybek Orolbai has managed to win 13 matches. And not just that, he is also on an eight-fight win streak that seems likely to extend as he goes against Mateusz Rebecki. With six wins coming off KO/TKO’s and five wins through submissions, Orolbai truly is a fierce fighter that fans would be hoping to see more of in the Dana White-led promotion. What do you think? Will Orolbai be able to win at UFC 308? Let us know in the comments.
