Aline Pereira’s MMA debut loss and MMA record

Alex Pereira currently reigns supreme as the champion of the UFC middleweight division. Following in her brother’s footsteps, Aline Pereira made the decision to shift to MMA at the age of 32, in order to test her skills in a new domain.

Aline made her MMA debut in November 2022 with LFA [Legacy Fighting Alliance], where her brother had previously fought and won via knockout against Thomas Powell. In her debut fight, Aline showed flashes of her potential but unfortunately ended up losing a decision to Helen Peralta.

Peralta, an experienced fighter with a record of 6-4, has competed in both MMA and Bareknuckle boxing, and proved to have too much experience for the Brazilian fighter.

Inside Alex Pereira and Aline Pereira’s relationship

Alex and Aline Pereira share a close bond, just like any other siblings. Both of them train under the retired UFC legend Glover Teixeira, who has been instrumental in shaping their fighting careers. Aline often posts pictures and videos of her brother Alex and is present at his fights. Similarly, ‘Poatan’ supports Aline in her fights. They celebrate each other’s successes, and the fact that they follow the same career path adds to the bond they share.

All you need to know about Alex Pereira’s next Fight, UFC 287

On April 8th, at UFC 287 in Miami-Dade Arena, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya will meet for their highly anticipated rematch in Dana White‘s promotion. This will mark the fourth time the two fighters will be stepping into the combat sports arena against each other. In all three of their previous outings, Pereira emerged victorious, and he is determined to maintain his winning streak this time around as well. For Adesanya, the stakes couldn’t be higher, as he will be challenging Pereira for the UFC middleweight title, which was snatched from him in their encounter at UFC 281.

Their history has made them arch-rivals in the promotion, and their rivalry has surpassed all barriers. Neither fighter has missed an opportunity to call out the other on anything that could favor them. Pereira, in particular, makes sure to strike the New Zealander’s nerves whenever possible, be it through trolling or making harsh remarks.
