A brief look at ‘The Queen of Violence’s MMA journey

‘The Queen of Violence’ initially made a name for herself as the Brazilian Muay Thai champion before transitioning to mixed martial arts. Her journey began under the Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) promotion, where she gained recognition as a fierce competitor. Despite her early success, Lipski faced a setback when her contract with KSW concluded, leaving her with the UFC as her next goal.

The turning point arrived when Ariane Lipski signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), marking a new chapter in her career. However, her much-anticipated debut was thwarted as her scheduled opponent withdrew due to injury. Undeterred, Lipski finally entered the UFC Octagon in 2019, against Joanne Calderwood, though she faced defeat via unanimous decision.
