Israel Adesanya is someone who has reached the pinnacle of the sport but still hasn’t forgotten his roots. The Nigerian fighter is the eldest of five children. His father, Oluwafemi Adesanya, is an accountant, while his mother was a nurse.

During the UFC 259 pre-fight conference, Adesanya wore a t-shirt with ‘Dadesanya’ written on it to honor his father.

‘The Last Stylebender’ had taken to Twitter to share what he felt towards his parents. He shared a picture of him wearing this shirt and a picture with his mother. With the image, Adesanya wrote, “Give your loved ones their flowers while they’re here to receive them.”
This gesture clearly shot how much Adesanya loves both his parents. Adesanya has time and again talked about how his father helps him with preparing for fights. Even though Adesanya and his father live in different cities, they both connect often to discuss his fights.

Adesanya never backs down from showing love to his father. He knows how much his father has struggled to help him become this global superstar. Adesanya gifted his father a brand new $200,000 Bentley and took to Twitter to share the news.
“Upgraded my pops cuz he the realest on my team!. I don’t wait for my loved ones to pass on before I give them their (bouquet image).
“When you help me garden, you deserve all the flowers,” Adesanya wrote.
Israel Adesanya had lashed out on Jon Jones when he commented on his father
The feud between Adesanya and Jones had been growing for some time, and it reached its boiling point on October 6, 2020. The personal feud started after Adesanya talked about how his father had already told him how to beat Jones.
Jones then talked about Adesanya’s father, which triggered Adesanya. ‘The Last Stylebender’ then went on the target Jones for talking about his father. Adesanya even mentioned Jones’s deceased mother, which did not go well with anyone.
