There’s been quite a few personalities in the MMA industry who’ve as many hats as former UFC fighter  Khalil Ghosn aka ‘Tiki’ Ghosh. Ghosn was a defensive back in high school, and then attended Orange Coast College for a short while, before moving toward mixed martial arts. Having been in the promotion for around a decade, even Ghosn’s MMA record is quite a respectable one, to say the least.

Between 1998 and 2009, ‘Kid Fiddler’, participated in 18 welterweight MMA fights. Those were the days when some of the biggest killers in UFC history used to compete in the welterweight division. Ghosn butted heads against great fighters such as Sean Sherk and Robbie Lawler, both losses, in the course of his UFC run. As per reports, he has a record 10-7-1.

Ghosn has earned a unique spot in MMA history. If you’re wondering why, it’s because he partly founded former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz‘s ‘Team Punishment’ along with Rob McCullough. But that’s not all as he has some deep connections within UFC.

Ghosn was once managed by Dana White before the latter became the UFC CEO. Notably, Khalil was a part of the promotion when it was in its revival stage in the early 2000s. But whom has Ghosn managed over the years? Well, there a quite a few of them, to be honest.

Ghosn’s managerial career

There is no shortage of fighters, who’ve been champions in the UFC, under the management of Tiki Ghosn. Yes, fighters like Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Michael Bisping, Tito Ortiz, and B.J. Penn, are just some of those high achievers in the UFC whose careers were under the ‘Team Punishment’ co-founder’s care and watch. The success he had with his fighters enabled Ghosn to start his own management company, named Arsenal Sports Agency.

Arsenal Sports Agency used to represent perhaps the greatest MMA trash-talker in history, Chael Sonnen in the past. Currently, the agency represents Aljamain Sterling, who was the prior bantamweight champion, alongside Dustin Poirier, a former interim lightweight champion. But even with a portfolio like that, the former MMA fighter recently got into some serious controversy when former middleweight champion Sean Strickland accused the prominent MMA manager of predatory behavior on social media.

“So Tiki, what I say to you is, if you want to sue me for slander, defamation, I’m not slandering you, I’m not making this up. This is what was told to me by the girl’s father. If you want to sue me, I will crowd-fund this, and we will go to court, and I will fight you,” the fighter stated.

Though no official statements have come from Ghosn, the weight of the allegations are definite to shake up the MMA world. Only time will tell how the situation unfolds.
