With six wins and only one loss in the UFC, Blanchfield surely is on top of her game in the Octagon. But who are the ones helping her out to be her very best? Where does Erin Blanchfield train?

Blanchfield, a native of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, began practicing jiu-jitsu when she was seven years old. Within just two years, she began participating in grappling and kickboxing competitions. After some years of performing well in small-scale competitions, ‘Cold Blooded’ decided to become a professional fighter at the age of twelve. After being one of the top fighters in the Invicta Fighting Championships, Blanchfield joined the UFC with already seven wins under her belt.

She followed the wins with major victories against Taila Santos, Jéssica Andrade, Molly McCann, JJ Aldrich, and Miranda Maverick in the UFC. Erin Blanchfield is now geared up to fight Rose Namajunas. In this effort, she would be training in the MK Muay Thai MMA gym to work on her striking. However, she is also a part of the Silver Fox BJJ MMA gym to hone her grappling skills as well.

Based in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, MK Muay Thai Gym is owned by head coach Kru Augie Matias, who has over 30 years of martial arts experience. He is a Taekwondo Homdo Black Belt, Brazilian Jiujitsu 2nd Degree Black Belt, Muay Thai Black and Red Armband Holder, as well as a retired Special Operations Police Officer, CVI unit, with over 20 years of experience. With such combat experience, Erin Blanchfield could surely work on her striking skills since she only has two TKO wins in her MMA career.

However, she surely is a great grappler, as evident by her four submission wins. And to become even a bigger threat than how she is right now, ‘Cold Blooded’ goes to the Saddle Brook, New Jersey-based Silver Fox BJJ MMA gym. There she trains under the tutelage of New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Famer Karel Pravec, under whom she earned her black belt in BJJ.

At Silver Fox, Blachfield trains with her brother Brendan Blanchfield, who too is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. So her fans can be rest assured that ‘Cold Blooded’ is surely getting top-notch training from some of the best in the professional mixed martial arts scene. But what do you think?
