Three years ago, Rogan and former UFC fighter, Brendan Schaub, sat together to discuss the happenings in the MMA world. However, as the conversation progressed, they ended up talking about the feud between Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson. Schaub, who knew the details about the issue, educated Rogan about what happened between the ‘Fast and Furious’ actors. Rogan was surprised to hear about the details and concluded that “people lose their minds.“

A few years ago, Brendan Schaub and Joe Rogan sat together on Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. During the conversation, they stumbled upon the feud between Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson. A feud broke out between Tyrese Gibson and ‘The Rock’ when the WWE star chose to make a spinoff of ‘Fast and Furious.’ ‘Fast and Furious’ is one of the most successful franchises that has continued to thrill audiences over the years. The ‘Fast and Furious’ family collapsed when Johnson went for the spinoff ‘Hobbs and Shaw.’ Gibson hated the unexpected move and blamed him for destroying the essence of the movie. He also made Johnson accountable for delaying the release of ‘Fast and Furious 9.’

In JRE Rogan and Brendan went through the articles related to the feud. Rogan said, “Didn’t ‘The Rock’ gotten a big thing with Tyrese too right,” to which Brendan replied, “That I was just flipping out because like all he has is ‘Fast and Furious’ so that when ‘the Rock’ did a spin-off, he’s like ‘how dare you, we’re a family.’ Rock like, ‘No, we’re not I did a spin-off dumba*s.’“
After listening to Schaub, the UFC commentator added, “But remember when ‘The Rock’ was sh*t on his music… Well, it’s because Rock is so positive… He [ Tyrese Gibson] went crazy.” The former UFC fighter replied, “And then he asked Will Smith for money. ”

Later Rogan concluded the discussion by saying, “He’s mad. Why did he ask Will Smith for money? … people lose their mind man.” While talking about the beef between Gibson and Johnson, they also mentioned Gibson taking a $5 million loan from Will Smith to pay for his daughter’s legal fees. Back then, Gibson took to his Instagram to thank Smith and Jada Pinkett for helping him in the dire situation.
