The #3-ranked bantamweight fighter, Merab Dvalishvili, is preparing himself hard for UFC Fight Night 221. The fighter will be headlining the event against Petr Yan on May 11. Both of them are undoubtedly going to give each other a tough time. Petr Yan has a record of 16 victories and four losses and indeed has “no mercy” against his opponents. The Georgian fighter has a record of 15 victories and four losses. Considering the almost identical records of both fighters, it is nearly impossible to predict the winner. Through the social media posts of “The Machine,” it is understood that he is going through a very tough training regime. Furthermore, in a recent Instagram post, Dvalishvili is seen taking a huge risk to make himself stronger. Fans were shocked to see the life-threatening adventure the fighter did to toughen himself.

In a recent video posted by The Machine on his Instagram handle, he is jumping from a height into a river that has huge currents. After jumping into the river, Dvalishvili was seen swimming against the water currents. To level up his training, the UFC star now seems to be challenging Mother Nature. Fans were in awe after watching the breathtaking video.

A few years back, the undefeated retired UFC champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, was seen swimming against the dangerous currents in Kizilyurt. The river was almost frozen. Keeping the incident in mind, one of the fans commented:

The anticipation of the fans has skyrocketed for the fight between Dvalishvili and Petr Yan. They both will be headlining the event, while Alexander Volkov and Alexander Romanov will fight for the co-main event. Dvalishvili, in his last fight, was up against Jose Aldo at UFC 278, where he won the fight via decision.
