Khamzat ‘The Wolf’ Chimaev is arguably the promotion’s biggest find in the past couple of years. The UFC upstart has showcased superior fighting skills and hunger that have even impressed UFC president Dana White. He has remained unbeaten in the UFC and is struggling to find opponents.

Per the UFC kingpin, no one barring Neil Magny and Gilbert Burns really wants to fight him.

In his recent training montage, Chimaev shared his thoughts about Neil Magny. He stated he can easily beat him, but doesn’t understand why UFC is not booking this fight already.

Borz‘ said, “I don’t know why UFC didn’t fix this fight, I can smash him tomorrow. Tomorrow, tonight, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. He’s such a skinny guy, look at him and what he did against this Li Jingliang and what I did with him. Eh, I don’t know, you see the different level.”

“He didn’t get to throw a punch, I smashed him, I played with this guy and He had a tough fight with him and he talk about he can win against me. No brother, I am gonna eat your legs. I am going to eat everything. I am going to take his heart, and who more, Gilbert?”

Gilbert Burns continues to call out Khamzat Chimaev

The 27-year-old fighter has been finding it hard to book a fight in the UFC. His long struggle with the aftermath of COVID-19 has already cost him crucial time.

In his return, he shut down all naysayers. After UFC 267, it is quite clear that The Wolf hasn’t lost a step and is ready to take on anyone in the welterweight division.

Dana White has previously stated that not many people are looking to take him on. However, since he made that statement, Gilbert Burns has tossed his name in the hat to face Chimaev next.

Victory over a former title challenger, who sits at #2 in the divisional rankings, will definitely fast track him to face the welterweight kingpin Kamaru Usman. Much like Isreal Adesanya, Chimaev can become the next world champion in the shortest amount of time.
