Anthony Smith was last seen in the UFC octagon on July 30, where he broke his ankle against Magomed Ankalaev. Smith‘s next fight against Johnny Walker is highly anticipated by the UFC community. Walker is also a top-ranked fighter and has a record of 20 wins and 7 losses.

Smith recently appeared in BISPING’S & SMITH BYM Podcast, where he and Michael Bisping talked about his upcoming fight. Bisping asked Smith about the toughest part of his training, to which he replied that it was adjusting to the altitude.

Smith further explained that the altitude was causing him wicked headaches, and it was hard to stay hydrated, no matter how much water he drank. However, Smith mentioned that things were getting easier, and the training sessions were going well.

“The altitude was kicking my ass. Wicked headaches, it’s hard to stay hydrated doesn’t matter how much water you drink. So just adjusting to that again was the toughest part and now things are getting easier. The training sessions are insane but yeah it’s going well.”

Smith‘s UFC career has been nothing short of impressive. He has fought some of the toughest opponents in the sport, including Alexander Gustafsson, Rashad Evans, and Glover Teixeira. However, his biggest fight was against Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title. Smith lost that fight via unanimous decision.

Smith has also won multiple Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night awards in his career. Currently, he is #5 in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. Also known as the ‘Lionheart’, Smith has won three of his last four fights.
