Joe Rogan’s name has been constantly in the news over the past few weeks. The host of the Joe Rogan Experience is one of the biggest names in the world but is currently embroiled in controversies.

He is getting a lot of flak from all sides recently. It all started when singer-songwriter Neil Young went after Rogan. He accused Rogan of spreading misinformation regarding COVID-19 vaccines. He removed his music from Spotify, the platform where JRE airs and since then many others have followed. However, amidst all this, Spotify has stuck with the long-time UFC commentator. Despite so people asking for the audio streaming platform to cancel him, they have had his back.

Rogan appreciates what they’ve done and despite Rumble offering him $100 million to move his show, he will stick with them. He recently said, “No, Spotify has hung in with me, inexplicably, let’s see what happens.”

Ever since the controversy regarding Rogan and vaccine misinformation has started, people have been on Spotify’s case. They want them to cancel Rogan. And even though the platform has lost a lot of market value, they still seem to back him.

However, Spotify removed several JRE episodes recently. In a memo sent to the employees, Daniel Ek discussed the reason for that and clarified that it would not drop Rogan’s show. In the memo, Ek wrote, “I do not believe that silencing Joe is the answer.”
