Perry acknowledged the possibility, stating, “I think it could be a possibility.” He further added, “When my manager shared it and [he was like], ‘This will happen,’ I was like, whoa, that’s cool.”

Perry also highlighted that having McGregor as an opponent would elevate the level of trash talk in the sport to an unprecedented level.
