The 41-year-old went forward with her plan while ‘Sheetara’ made an unexpected move. The Brazilian fighter latched onto the neck of ‘The Preacher’s daughter’. She continued to strengthen the hold she has on Holm’s neck, and after a point, Holm could not take it any longer and ended up tapping out of the bout.

Holm’s terrible loss against the Brazilian fighter was something that the MMA community least expected. She became a favorite of fight fans after she won a stunning knockout victory against Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in 2015.
