“Woman Beater” Who Assaulted Girlfriend Gets a Violent Reality Check as BJJ Brown Belt Publicly Humiliates Offender – “Only Thing You Can Do Is Cry”

MMA fans often appreciate a good fight- be it inside the cage or outside. Wild street brawls often make their way to the internet where they go viral in minutes and garner a wide range of reactions. Sometimes, these brawls highlight how having martial arts training may help one in critical situations or allow them to help others. Recently, one such incident made its way to Twitter.

An account that promotes Jiu-Jitsu shared the clip of a man subduing another by holding him in a body triangle. The post caption explained that the subdued man was allegedly beating his partner before the BJJ practitioner intervened. Per the tweet, he held the assaulter down until the police arrived and arrested him.

According to a follow-up tweet from the same account, the man in the blue t-shirt, who subdued the attacker, is Jordan Wirth. Wirth is a brown belt in BJJ and has secured prizes in various competitions.

He was calm and collected during the whole encounter. Wirth had trapped the attacker’s left arm and tried to pacify the situation. The attacker pleaded and cried that he could not breathe, at which point Wirth asked him to relax to breathe better. However, he sternly reminded the assaulter of his situation when the verbal exchange escalated.

Meanwhile, some fans had some pointers for the way Wirth was using his technique.

The funny thing about the MMA community is that there will always be fans who have a few fighting tips for the pros. The case was the same for Jordan Wirth. Some fans were pointing out the errors in his technique while subduing the assaulter.

One fan asked why Wirth had his legs crossed in a back mount.

Another one echoed the same sentiment and highlighted the risk of the mistake.

At the end of the clip, cops arrive and detain the man and take him away. Fortunately, the BJJ practitioner’s intervention proved effective.
