UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya posted a clip about why people are criticizing Supreme Court’s decision on June 24th to overturn Roe v. Wade. The decision was met with a strong backlash from people not only from the United States but from around the world. Many sporting personalities too spoke about it.

The Nigeria-New Zealand-based athlete took to his Twitter handle to post a clip that explains the ruling and effects it could cause with some stats.
Adesanya captioned his post: “…women will die, and there is nothing pro-life about that.” Spittin’ Barz!!!

The quote in Adesanya’s caption is one of the ending lines from the video.

Adesanya has talked about this matter even when the news broke at the end of June. To make a statement, The Last Stylebender had demanded a ban on ‘cond***’ just after the ruling.

The middleweight champion recently defended his title in an intelligent fight. Though his victory was dominant, the fans weren’t pleased with his performance. However, fans have always loved him for his outspoken personality.

The ruling became worldwide news as soon as it was announced. UFC/MMA world caught on to it and posted their reactions on social media as well.
A former Israel Adesanya opponent Derek Brunson reacted to it and said, “men shouldn’t be making laws about women’s bodies.”

Longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan had a discussion about the ruling on his renowned podcast with his different guests. In one of the conversations, Rogan gave his stance on it and called it ‘f***ing weird’.
Former UFC lightweight champion and current PFL athlete Anthony Pettis shared an epic Tupac line to show his support for women as well. He posted it just after the ruling.
