Presently McGregor is recovering from the leg injury he suffered during his fight with Dustin Poirier. During this time, ‘Notorious’ has been spending a lot of time online and recently answered some fan questions on Twitter. One such question was that whether McGregor would coach on The Ultimate Fighter next season if the money was right.

To this McGregor gave a reply which might have come as a surprise to many people. He wrote, “Would do it for free. I done it for free the last time essentially. I distributed my payout to my coaching staff.”

McGregor was earlier a part of The Ultimate Fighter 22, in which he was one of the coaches along with Urijah Faber. The coaching staff of McGregor’s team included Owen Roddy, Sergey Pikulskiy, Tom Egan, and Arkadiusz Sternalski.

McGregor was the coach of Team Europe, and his team included fighters from all over the continent. During the course of the season, McGregor gave the fans various moments of pure entertainment. Therefore, if he ever becomes a coach in The Ultimate Fighter again, it will surely be a treat to watch.

What next for Conor McGregor?

In his last fight, McGregor faced Dustin Poirier in their much-anticipated trilogy fight at UFC 264. ‘Notorious’ lost that fight via TKO (doctors stoppage) as his leg snapped towards the end of the 1st round. Because of the injury, McGregor has been medically suspended till 2022.

On his return, McGregor wishes to face Dustin Poirier in a 4th fight. However, as Poirier is set to challenge for the UFC lightweight title, that fight seems unlikely to happen.
