Jon Jones is undeniably a legend in the sport of MMA. The former UFC light heavyweight champion boasts an incredible professional record of 26 wins and 1 loss. His only loss in the UFC was against Matt Hamill in 2009, which was due to disqualification following illegal elbows. Bones has beaten the likes of many UFC greats, such as Thiago Santos, Dominic Reyes, Daniel Cormier, and many more.

However, Jones’ star-studded career hasn’t come without its fair share of controversies. He’s been accused of using steroids and drugs multiple times. Apart from his controversial personal life, his professional life has been incredibly successful. As of November 2021, Jon Jones stands at rank number six in the UFC men’s pound for pound category.

In a recent video that was shared on his social media, Jones was training and looked to be in excellent shape. Another video was shared on YouTube, where we could see more of how he was training.

Bones looks absolutely jacked while training. Jones is currently training for his professional comeback, but this time as a heavyweight fighter. It could be possible that Jon will return to the cage soon. He also posted a video of himself training on his own Instagram. He captioned it as “Getting ready for zombie apocalypse

What’s next for Jon Jones?

Following his recent controversy in Las Vegas, it’s difficult to see the former UFC champion return to the octagon anytime soon. Jones was charged with one count of domestic battery, a misdemeanor, and one felony count of tampering with a police vehicle in September of this year. The unfortunate took place in Las Vegas, where the majority of the UFC’s fights take place.

Jon Jones may be planning to make a comeback as UFC’s next heavyweight champion. But this may not happen anytime soon. In August, Dana White claimed that Jones will not return to the octagon until 2022.

However, this was before his arrest in Vegas. We may see a return from Bones in 2022, and it could also be a direct title fight for the heavyweight championship. As of now, there has been no word from Dana White on the return of Jon Jones.
