Nate Diaz has always been an Eminem fan and has even walked out to one of his songs. For his fight against Jorge Masvidal, Stockton’s own walked out to The Way I Am, a song produced by Marshal Mathers. He is often seen rocking to the songs of the legendary rapper, including the time he was preparing for his fight against Anthony Pettis.

The shout-out from the rapper will only get more people talking about Diaz, who is itching to fight again.

Nate Diaz wants Dustin Poirier

Dustin Poirier was recently in action at UFC 269. He challenged UFC lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira, for the title, but it didn’t go his way. ‘The Diamond‘, after dominating the first round, got taken down in the second round and eventually got submitted in the third. This was his second crack at the title, having lost the first time to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Ever since his defeat, Poirier is unsure if he’ll ever cut weight again and fight in the lightweight division. However, this hasn’t stopped fighters from calling out the number 1 ranked lightweight. One fighter who is looking to take him on is Nate Diaz. The BMF title challenger, after Poirier’s defeat, took to Twitter and said, “I’ll fight Dp in January don’t be a scared lil b**ch this time now or never.”

Poirier was quick to respond and is ready to take him on. He said, “I’ll fight you this month.” Both fighters had a few more things to say to each other before it stopped. A fight between Diaz and Poirier is something fight fans have been wanting for a long time. If ‘The Diamond’ is unsure about cutting weight again, this is a fight that can be made at 170.
