Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s rivalry was an intense affair that even both their teams got involved in it. Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of ‘The Eagle‘, came to the limelight with ‘The Notorious‘ calling him out during the first stare-down of the two fighters ahead of the UFC 229 clash. And even in 2022, things are not cordial between the Irishman and Ali Abdelaziz.

The self-proclaimed ‘The Face of the Fight Game‘, Conor McGregor, often targets the Nurmagomedov camp on social media with his witty tweets. This time around, he posted a snap from the UFC 229 post-fight brawl, where the undefeated & former lightweight champion’s jumping the cage started a melee inside the Octagon.

‘The Notorious’ shared a collage with two pictures. While the first picture showed a team member of Nurmagomedov holding a Papakha in one hand and attacking Conor McGregor with the other, the second pic shows how McGregor slipped to his right to avoid the punch coming in and landed a left hand of his own.

The Irish superstar had shared this post prior and mentioned his strike as ‘the final blow of the night UFC 229’.

In his current post, ‘The Notorious‘ captioned it, “Bang of shite off them all. Stick that in the hall of fame.”

Ali Abdelaziz responded to Conor McGregor’s post and wrote, “One day you be there keyboard not going to help you keep working hard.”

The Dagestan-born athlete’s manager chiming in with his tweet and mentioning the keyboard as McGregor’s ally didn’t go well with the fight fans, who expressed their views about this interaction.

MMA fans didn’t appreciate Ali Abdelaziz’s response to Conor McGregor

Since the former UFC dual champion has set remarkable feats with his performances inside the Octagon, a successful manager, who got little success in his fighting career, saw fans giving him a hard time.

From remembering McGregor’s comment at the UFC 229 press conference to Ali Abdelaziz, to not getting a clear idea of what Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager is saying, to presenting him with a UFC belt with a keyboard printed on it, fans showed no mercy to Abdelaziz’s tweet.

Thus, perhaps considering their long-term rivalry, ‘The Notorious’ took a jibe at Nurmagomedov and put an infamous snap of him landing a shot on one of his brothers from his failed title bout attempt on October 6, 2018, and asked to put it in the UFC Hall of Fame.

The former Dagestan-born UFC champion shows immense loyalty to his peers. He and his manager share a strong bond and it’s not limited to a professional setting.

Nurmagomedov received his UFC Hall of Fame jacket from Ali Abdelaziz. Even in his Instagram stories and multiple interviews, ‘The Eagle’ has called him a ‘brother’ rather than a manager. Likewise, his manager has shown his loyalty by going after multiple opponents of Team Khabib, now and then.
