MMA Fighter-Turned Actor Ronda Rousey was at the peak of her career in 2014. Back then, she took the entire world by storm. After she defended her Women’s Bantamweight Championship Title from Alexis Davis. But that title defense remained her second biggest career achievement in 2014. American artist Marshall Mathers a.k.a Eminem mentioned her in one of his songs, which remains on top of the list. But, The American rapper might’ve insulted her through his inappropriate lyrics.

These lyrics offended ‘Rowdy’ a little. But even she felt honored, in a way, to be described as a ‘slaughterhouse’ by the popular rapper.

Ronda Rousey was awkward after hearing a verse about her

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2014. The popular late-night talk show took her interview after she defended her Bantamweight championship in the UFC. The host, Jimmy Kimmel, brought up an interesting matter of discussion in the show. And sang some lyrics from Mathers‘ song that mentioned ‘Rowdy’.

However, the ‘Fast and Furious’ actress was not a fan of how Eminem portrayed her. But, felt honored to be included in one of his verses.

Rousey said, “he’s a great artist, and art isn’t meant to be nice” as she discussed Eminem.

Kimmel asked her, “Do you think this is insulting?”

The current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion politely responded, “I don’t know” and later, added, “but I like being called a slaughterhouse in a blouse. I think that’s cool.”

But ‘Rowdy’ seemed a little uncomfortable after Kimmel sang to her.

Eminem honored ‘rowdy’, one artist to another

Ronda Rousey felt excited that a rapper, such as Eminem, decided to give her a shout-out. Therefore, she felt blessed and took it as a compliment. And stated that it is an honor. She even compared herself to the Oscar winner.

She said, “I feel like getting rapped about by Eminem is like getting arm-barred by me.”

And added, “It might not be so pleasant if you’re on the other side of it, but it’s skillfully done!”

And appreciated the rapper’s skill for being great at his work. She even compared her skill of arm-barring with Eminem’s mastery of rap.
