Kevin Hart Once Told Joe Rogan About “Late A**” Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Strange Sleeping Habit: “He’s Sleeping at Some Point”

The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcasts in the world today. People from various walks of life appear on the show and talk about some very interesting topics. In a call back to the episode of Rogan‘s podcast, he discussed the importance of sleep with guest actor and comedian Kevin Hart. It was Hart‘s first appearance on the show.

Rogan discussed the optimum amount of sleep required by a human being. He reiterated the medical issues anyone with sleep deprivation can suffer from.

Joe Rogan and Kevin Hart discuss Dwayne Johnson’s sleeping pattern

Rogan took the example of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart himself and their busy schedule. Despite being extremely busy, they manage to look extremely energetic all the time. He also mentioned that the Hollywood A-listers don’t look like they sleep at all. The famed UFC commentator said, “I see a guy like the Rock and I’m like, ‘how the f*** does he sleep? Where is the room for sleep?'”

Kevin Hart replied by saying, “You know, that’s true. I can’t say that I’ve witnessed the sleep patterns [of The Rock] but he’s a late-a**, so he does. He’s sleeping at some point.” He added that The Rock deserves his rest and that he motivates Hart to get better.

Rogan once was in conversation with a sleep expert

Joe Rogan once invited neuroscientist Dr. Matthew Walker on his podcast and, among many things, the duo discussed how vital sleep is to human beings. Dr. Walker is an expert on all things sleep. He explains that we lose several hours of sleep due to daylight and it increases the chance of heart attacks by 24 percent. But if we manage to gain an hour of sleep, the chances of getting a heart attack decrease by 21 percent.

“The prefrontal cortex is one of the first things to go if you are sleep deprived. So that area of the brain gets sort of switched off,” said Dr. Walker. He added, “The more that you are lacking in your sleep, the deep emotional centers of the brain which are normally controlled and kept in check by that pre-frontal cortex, they just erupt in terms of their activity.”
