Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz are two of the most respected fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. But the younger Diaz’s altercation with Khabib Nurmagomedov back in 2015 pulled some strings in bringing down the respect by a few inches.

Nate Diaz had a brawl with Nurmagomedov at ‘World Series of Fighting’. This event was revisited by Jorge Masvidal, as he posted the story on his Facebook page, and fans reacted to it.  

Fans split between Nate Diaz and Nurmagomedov

Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal recently revisited the altercation event on his Facebook page. He captioned, “One witness said “I thought I heard a Shotgun Blast!” about the sound heard when #NateDiaz smacked the out of #Khabib!”

Many of the fans reacted in support of ‘The Eagle’, while others gave their support to Nate Diaz.

• A rumor with no proof. We all know, smack or no smack, that Khabib could maul Nate anytime he chooses.
• Everybody play gangster with khabib then gets destroyed when it comes down to it. He just keeps everything calm and respectful. But don’t f*ck with him.

Although Nurmagomedov and his wrestling capabilities are on par, Diaz can definitely stand his ground. The duo in the Octagon would have made a lot of noise. Moreover, fans would have had their adrenaline rush with just the news of the bout.

The altercation between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz 

Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov went all-out during the ‘World Series of Fighting’, back in 2015. The altercation took all eyes off of the match between Rousimar Palhares and Jake Shields, and instead focused on the ‘Stockton Slugger’ and ‘The Eagle’. 

Nurmagomedov later tweeted, “Last night I was confronted by 2 thugs. I’m a professional mixed martial artist. I’m not a street fighter.” He tagged UFC president, Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta in the tweet.
