The bitter rivalry between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya is not news to anyone. Ardent UFC fans know how far back this rivalry can be traced. They have faced off twice in UFC so far and each can boast of a win over the other. No matter what one does, the other will follow up on that or one-up the other one.
Recently, WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury was spotted ringside, championing Joseph Parker ahead of his match against Faiga Opelu, in Melbourne. UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya was seen in conversation with The Gypsy King. The real front-page material was seen in the form of an Instagram post uploaded by Adesanya’s long-term rival, Alex Pereria while standing next to Tyson Fury on the same night.

Fans baffled by Pereira’s picture with Tyson Fury – Why?
According to statistics, UFC Middleweight fighter Alex Pereira is 6’4 and The Gypsy King is 6’9. However, in the picture uploaded by the former, there is little to no height difference between the two, leading to fans questioning their heights. Soon the picture’s comment section was riddled with questions regarding the same.
Comments like, “Wtf they look of same size?“
“Fury aint 6’9 or Alex not 6’4“,
“How is fury 6’9“,
“Crazy that you are similar in hight”
and “Even if Alex is wearing shoe lifts, fury is wearing af1s which make you like 1.25in taller as well… this don’t make sense” came in soon after the picture was uploaded.

Others rolled in with similar questions. “5’11 vs 6’0“,
“Ufc has Alex listed as 6’4 but he’s really 6’6 and Fury is 6’8” and
“I never realized Alex was this tall, fury is around 6ft 9“.
This showed the sheer disbelief and utter confusion among the fans. One fan pointed out for the rest that Adesanya and Pereira were at the same fight – under the same roof.
“You and Izzy in the same place holyy sh**t” he commented.
