‘You Are Not in My Top Five Either’- Max Holloway Trolls Daniel Cormier Once Again

Max Holloway teased the former two division champion of UFC Daniel Cormier on Twitter. The Hawaiian fighter doesn’t include Cormier in his list of top five.
Recently, Cormier played a fantasy draft game along with Ryan Clark in an episode of ESPN’s DC & RC YouTube show. The former champion hosts the show with Clark. Cormier revealed his list of the biggest UFC stars of all time.
Cormier chose Conor McGregor, Brock Lesnar, Georges St-Pierre, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Ronda Rousey, respectively. However, Cormier’s choice didn’t settle well with the former featherweight champion of UFC.

‘Blessed’ quickly responded tagging Cormier on his account. The latter wrote, “You are not in my top five either -Daddest man on the planet”

However, this is not the first time ‘Blessed’ trolled Cormier. Both men have been in the verbal sparring for years now. Both the men share an entertaining relationship and always get into hilarious disputes on social media.

The Hawaiian fighter is a good friend of Daniel Cormier, and the friendship keeps growing over years. They call each other out frequently on the internet. However, ‘Blessed’ looks up to Cormier as a fighter and also draws inspiration from him.

In an interview with Yahoo Sports Holloway said, “Ah for sure, for sure. ‘DC’ is a big help I call him out all the time about being the daddest man on the planet…. We can fight at super heavyweight DC, Daddest man on the planet I own that belt. But all jokes aside, that guy is a big help you know?”

He added, “He calls me here and there to check in just to talk about stuff, talk about life, talk about the way I approach fights. I got to talk to him a little bit during this camp here and there and he talks to me about approaching, his mindset and these are the kinds of things to think of. It’s super cool that I got someone like that on my side, you know? That’s been there, done that, and I get to learn through him.”

Cormier retired from the combat sports in 2019. Meanwhile, ‘The Blessed One’ is currently #2 in the featherweight roster of the UFC and combat fans are excited to see what he brings to the table next.
