Jimmy Crute and Jamahal Hill represented the Light heavyweight division at UFC Vegas 44 on December 4, 2021. Their match was rather a quick affair as Jamahal Hill, a Chicago- native bested Crute with a powerful right-hand that sent him to the canvas.

The Australian pounced on Hill at the beginning of the match and landed some kicks on his opponent as well. But Jamahal Hill made quick work of Crute and delivered a punch to his temple, which Crute (12-3) survived.

He said, “Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know I’m fine, mentally and physically I’m fine. My face is bit f***ed… fractured Orbital Bone, and a fractured nose but apart from that I am fine.” he added. “You can’t keep a junkyard dog down. I need to take some time off to heal this face and work on a few things. But I’ll be back, there’s no doubt about that.”
