“You Can Say Whatever You Want and Not Be Held Accountable”- Dominick Cruz Destroys Henry Cejudo for Trying To Return to UFC-Calls Him a Troll

Dominick Cruz is widely regarded as one of the top bantamweight fighters in the UFC right now. “The dominator” is also a former UFC Bantamweight champion who is currently ranked 11th in his weight class. The former champion will make his UFC comeback at UFC 269 against Pedro Munhoz.
Cruz suffered two losses in a row before his recent triumph over Casey Kenney at UFC 259, one of which was against “The Messenger” Henry Cejudo. Cejudo announced his retirement from MMA after a second-round technical knockout victory against Dominick Cruz at UFC 259. Cejudo has had one of the most successful careers in combat sports history, having won championships in the UFC as well as a gold Olympic medal.
Despite the fact that “The Messenger” has been retired from the UFC for more than a year, he has managed to remain relevant in the organization. Dominick Cruz, his previous opponent, doesn’t seem to understand why. Cruz addressed this issue in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on MMAFightingonSBN.

He stated, “If I’m being honest, the fact that we’re even talking about somebody who retired… ESPN’s promoting people who have retired. I don’t understand it, makes no sense.”
“If you’re retired, then there’s no vulnerability. You can say whatever you want and not be held accountable, ever. “So you can run around being all these retired athletes that, I don’t even need to say their names. And say how great you are and say all this. Because there’s nothing, there’s no way to make you pay for your words. You’re basically a troll.” Claimed, ‘The Dominator’.

What’s next for Dominick Cruz?
The UFC’s December pay-per-view event will feature an intriguing bantamweight battle. Dominick Cruz, the former bantamweight champion, is scheduled to face Pedro Munhoz at UFC 269. Cruz is keen to rise from his present standing of 11th, and a win over Pedro Munhoz will allow him to do just that.
Munhoz is now ranked ninth, two places higher than Dominick. Cruz has recently been pressing for a higher-ranking fight, and it looks that he has finally found what he has been looking for. If Cruz maintains his current form and Cejudo returns to the ring, a rematch between the two is possible in the future.
