As the conversation continued, Thomson mentioned how Chimaev is not the right opponent for Adesanya. The former UFC fighter added, “I mean I honestly think Robert Whittaker is more deserving than Chimaev now. Don’t get me wrong man. I enjoy watching Chimaev fight and I think there’s a bright future for him but just because you do all the talking doesn’t mean you deserve a title shot.According to Thomson, Robert Whittaker is the best opponent for ‘The Last Stylebender.”

Khamzat Chimaev has called out a number of fighters. After Adesanya won the middleweight title, his focus shifted to Adesanya. Chimaev said that the fans want to see him fight Adesanya; however, the UFC won’t let that happen. According to the Swedish fighter, fighting against him can be a bad choice for Adesanya, as Chimaev may end up destroying him.
