Many consider the sport of mixed martial arts to be very violent. Naturally, in a sport where two people hit each other, some beef between the two is expected. However, fighters don’t just get into a beef with their opponents. Sometimes, they can get into a tussle with a celebrity. Such was the case when a UFC fighter had a tussle with famous singer Justin Bieber.

The feud started when Nate Diaz fought Conor McGregor at UFC 196. Diaz defeated the Irishman via submission in round 2. While McGregor had a lot of backing, Diaz surprised everyone in the crowd with that victory.

Following Diaz’s victory over McGregor, Justin Bieber showed his backing towards ‘The Notorious’ publicly. In a post, Bieber said, “No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect.”

The Stockton-born fighter was quick to respond to Bieber. In an interview, Diaz said, “Bieber, don’t watch the sport; he don’t know the sport,” Diaz said. “I’ve seen a couple other people too, Drake, all these other guys that are stating their opinion. How are you going to state your opinion when you don’t know s**t? You’re just showing your lack of knowledge on the sport.” Diaz also shared an animated image of him slapping Bieber.

While speaking to Conan O’Brien, Nate Diaz recalls the time he met Justin Bieber. Diaz said he was in Los Angeles when he went into a club and people came up to him and told him Justin Bieber was there too.

Even though people kept telling Diaz about Bieber’s presence in the club, the Stockton-born fighter seemed unfazed by it. Eventually, Justin and his crew, whom Diaz called a ‘bunch of little Biebers’, found Diaz and came to him.

Diaz added Bieber greeted him and asked him to squash the beef between the two. Diaz simply responded by saying it was all good as he had no problems with the singer.

Eventually, the two squashed their beef. Later, Nate Diaz even shared an image with Justin Bieber on his Instagram. It is good to see the two resolve their issues without harm done.
